Key contribution
Thanks to ISOVER solutions, such as sound absorbing products made from sustainable materials, reverberation times can be limited.
Aim
To help maintain comfortable sound levels by limiting reverberation times.
Detailed requirement
Part 1: Reverberation Time
The following spaces have maximum reverberation time (RT60) as described:
- Conference rooms: 0.6 seconds.
- Open workspaces: 0.5 seconds.
Part 2: Reverberation Time for Learning Spaces
Reverberation time measurements for learning spaces meet the following criteria:
- Spaces less than or equal to 3,000 m³ [10,000 ft³]: less than 0.6 seconds.
- Spaces greater than 3,000 m³ [10,000 ft³] and equal to or less than 6,000 m³ [20,000 ft³]: less than 0.7 seconds.

Our contribution
Besides having an environment free of sound pollution, there are spaces (such as classrooms, conference rooms, opera and movie halls, and theatres) where it is important to be able to hear sound clearly.
Each of these room types, therefore, requires a special interior acoustic treatment to prevent unwanted effects (such as echoes) and to create the right acoustic environment for the activity taking place. The easiest way to achieve this is to decrease the reverberation time using sound absorbing materials. ISOVER solutions can meet this need.
