Saint-Gobain’s eco-innovation policy aims to produce innovative solutions that help reduce the environmental impacts of buildings and infrastructures over the entire life cycle.
Our innovative products improve indoor air quality (IAQ) using the air purifying technology of Activ’Air®/ AirRenew® gypsum boards and ceiling tiles. Health issues associated with exposure to pollutants and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), such as formaldehyde, present within enclosed spaces are avoided. This technology can remove up to 70% of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from the indoor atmosphere and convert them into safe, inert compounds that cannot be released back into the air once trapped in the product.
Improved Air Quality Solutions - Activ'Air
Activ'Air solutions either eliminate or trap and transform formaldehyde into inert compounds, improving indoor air quality.
