Key contribution

As part of our pledge to promote green building and the use of sustainable materials, Saint-Gobain Glass solutions do not contain asbestos, lead (100 ppm) or polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). 

Aim

To reduce or eliminate occupant exposure to lead, asbestos, and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) from building materials.

The feature’s requirements concern the following elements:

  • Asbestos and Lead Restriction
  • Lead Abatement
  • Asbestos Abatement
  • Polychlorinated Biphenyl Abatement
  • Mercury Limitation
  • Playground Equipment Safety

Our contribution

In respect of the European Directives 83/478/CEE and 85/467/CEE, our glazing does not contain asbestos or polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) respectively. In addition, as mentioned in our RoHS declaration, our glass does not contain lead (100 ppm).
