See below how Insulation Solutions by ISOVER can contribute to LEED criteria : Acoustic performance
Key contribution
Due to its devotion to sustainable design, ISOVER is permanently engaged in research and development to improve acoustic performance while preserving thermal comfort.
Aim
To provide workspace that promotes occupant’s well-being, productivity, and communication through effective acoustic design.
Detailed requirement
For all occupied spaces, the project has to meet specific requirements for:
- Heating, ventilating and airconditioning (HVAC) background noise
- Sound isolation
- Reverberation time
- Sound reinforcement and masking

Our contribution
The high performance of the ISOVER lightweight mineral wool products (glass wool and Ultimate products) makes them ideally suited for use in mass-spring-mass systems or as sound absorbing materials, thus achieving outstanding acoustic results. In the phase of construction planning, special attention must be paid to the heating and ventilation system. By using ducts made of reinforced mineral wool, such as CLIMAVER® or by insulating the metal ducts with mineral wool, sound comfort can be significantly improved.
