See below how Glass façade & windows by Saint-Gobain can contribute to LEED V4.0 criteria: Integrative process.
Aim
To support high-performance, cost-effective project outcomes through an early analysis of the interrelationships among systems.
Detailed requirement
Beginning in pre-design and continuing throughout the design phases, the project needs to identify and use opportunities to achieve synergies across disciplines and building systems for Energy and Water-Related Systems.
For the “Energy-Related Systems” part, a preliminary “simple box” energy modelling analysis has to be performed before the completion of schematic design that explores how to reduce energy loads in the building and accomplish related sustainability goals by questioning default assumptions. At least two potential strategies associated with site conditions, massing and orientation, basic envelope attributes, lighting levels, thermal comfort ranges, plus and process load needs, programmatic and operational parameters need to be assessed.

Our contribution
Saint-Gobain offers a wide range of solutions allowing for limitless design possibilities; with digital tools and mobile apps to help in finding the ideal glass for your project.
- SG Glass Compass app provides you with the best glazing simulation for your building with more comfort and cost savings per year during the entire life of the window.
- Calumen Live is the reference of calculation: it enables you either to calculate the light, energy, thermal or acoustic performances of your glazing, either to find a suitable glazing for your project based on its performance values.
