Aim

To reduce construction and demolition waste disposed of in landfills and incineration facilities by recovering, reusing, and recycling materials.

Detailed requirement

The project has to recycle and/or salvage non-hazardous construction and demolition materials, with the following options:

Option 1: diversion of the construction and demolition material (50 or 75%);

Option 2: reduction of total waste material (no more than 12.2kg of waste per m2).

Our contribution

The installation of Eurocoustic ceiling tiles requires little energy and no water. Eurocoustic ceiling tiles are easy to cut without noise or dust. During construction, Eurocoustic ceilings produce less than 5% of waste.

In addition, the mounting systems are designed to be practical and easily removable, thus facilitating recovery during deconstruction. The steels we use for our grids and accessories are 100% recyclable, indefinitely, and without altering their quality.

The recycling of metal is essential, since it reduces greenhouse gas emissions by using less energy than used when it was initially manufactured: up to 95% of gain for aluminum and 70% for steel (source: www.ecologie-blog.fr).
