Key contribution
Mineral wool insulation products are recyclable. ISOVER is committed to foster recycling, to support the development of recycling companies, and to work with them whenever possible.
Aim
To ensure and optimize worksite’s waste sorting, reduction and recycling.
Detailed requirement
Identifying, quantifying and reducing the worksite waste by type but also recycling it as well as possible, as appropriate for the existing local recycling channels, and ascertain the appropriate destination of the waste.
Our contribution
3.1.3 Recycle the worksite's waste as much as possible, make sure it is appropriate for the existing local recycling channels, and ascertain the appropriate destination of the waste.
ISOVER develops take-back services to properly collect, sort, and process end-of-life waste, to manufacture either new glass wool or other products such as bricks. Recycling certificate is delivered to collectors to justify the recycling process.
3.1.4 Optimize the collection, sorting and grouping of the worksite's waste
When available, the ISOVER Recycling service offers a partnership through the all value chains, from the gutting companies taking care of removing and sorting the waste coming from the job site to the collectors in charge of controlling, compressing waste into bales, and sending the bales to the ISOVER plants. For these different partners, a certificate of recycling is available to justify the amount of waste collected, which helps to ensure the waste management plan.
