Key contribution

Aim

To promote the consideration of emissions of total volatile organic compounds and formaldehyde, as health-related impacts, in the choice of construction products.

Detailed requirement

Determining the health-related impact of construction products with respect to indoor air quality, choosing construction products to limit the health-related impact of the building and limiting pollution due to wood treatments.
