Installing a low emissivity glass allows the retention of heat inside the building, and a better glazing thermal insulation (called the “Ug value”) can limit heat loss;
Considering the solar factor (called the “g value”) of the glass, it is possible to reduce air conditioning needs; and
Finally, glazing with the high light transmission (in %) allows natural light to enter the building and reduce artificial lighting needs.
