In France, Saint-Gobain offers exclusive services to the customer with its NAVIGLASS database. Since 2005, each insulating glass unit manufactured by "Glassolutions" site has a unique NIVAGLASS ID printed on the spacer (rigid frame between the two glasses). NAVIGLASS database enables our customers to have access to precise and reliable information related to insulating glass installed for the following:
- The construction of a building,
- The building rental or sale,
- Renovation or maintenance work of insulating glass owners, tenants or asset managers. They can permanently access the characteristics of each insulating glass unit.
Saint-Gobain has also launched its own BIM (Building Information Modelling) library already available in many countries. Some glazing BIM objects can be directly downloaded on the platform, providing product information that will further facilitate information access for the maintenance of the building.
Saint-Gobain’s BIM platform offers free information and files for our range of products solutions.
