Key contribution

As SageGlass is an inert material, it does not promote fungal and bacterial growth.

Aim

To ensure that special health conditions are taken for sensitive areas and rooms in the building with respect to particular activities.

Detailed requirement

Creating special health conditions (except maintenance rooms), optimizing the health conditions of maintenance rooms and choosing materials that limit the growth of fungi and bacteria.

Our contribution

12.2.3. Choose materials that limit the growth of fungi and bacteria (1)

SageGlass is an inert material and does not promote fungal and bacterial growth. Moulds can grow superficially,  but it does not damage the material and can be easily removed with a cloth. Also, SageGlass effectively controls light and heat without the use of blinds (which are often prone to dirt and dust deposits).
